Wellhouse was (re)founded around a 100-year-old table and seal that became the basis for creating the chosen boutique for entrepreneurs to master risk transfer, mitigation, and retention through insurance and advisory. Our mission is to help businesses ensure their workers return home safely, properly indemnify the outside world to their actions, and drive profitability.
Built by an entrepreneurial family rooted in the community and founded in 2018, Wellhouse was decades in the making. Rick Stein and Richard Stein Jr saw the need for a Risk Management Advisory focused on fellow entrepreneurs. The founders borrowed from experience with an eye for the future to serve as an extension members’ teams. The company supplements Rick’s deep understanding of the insurance industry and Richard Jr’s unique view of risk with a team of industry veterans.
